In early March, as spring brings warmer temperatures, Texans begin to feel that summer is just around the corner. Air conditioners are often one of the most troublesome appliances, and in the hot Texas weather, any malfunction can quickly disrupt daily life. With numerous components and complex principles, AC issues can leave homeowners feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how to proceed.
To help residents prepare before the summer heat arrives, the Pearland Chinese Association (PCA) invited experienced HVAC technician James Zhang to share his knowledge and experience on air conditioner maintenance and repair.
At the start of the seminar, Mr. Zhang used several images to provide attendees with a basic understanding of the control panel, attic furnace, coil, air distribution system, and outdoor condenser, explaining how each component functions.
He then went on to describe the normal and abnormal working conditions of each component, helping participants identify potential issues early and take timely action to avoid more serious problems.
