College Admissions Experience-Sharing Event Successfully Held

On July 25, 2026, PROMIS AYLUS Pearland and the Pearland Chinese Association (PCA) jointly hosted a college admissions experience-sharing event at the Pearland Library Theater Center, with an online option available for those unable to attend in person.

A special feature of the event was the participation of recent high school graduates who had just completed the college application process and were preparing to begin college. They shared their personal experiences, lessons learned, and practical advice with local students and parents.

The graduates discussed their experiences in setting college goals, preparing for standardized tests and extracurricular activities, completing applications and essays, and ultimately making their college decisions. Their firsthand perspectives provided an authentic and valuable look at the college admissions journey.

The event offered younger students and families an opportunity to learn directly from those who had recently gone through the process and gain practical insights for their own college planning.
