Harmonious Parent-Child Relationships (9.21.2019)

On September 21, 2019, the Pearland Chinese Association (PCA) invited Ms. Baolan Liu, a local experienced passion coach and psychology enthusiast, to host a seminar on “Harmonious Parent-Child Relationships”.

The seminar addressed the unprecedented challenges faced by today’s youth due to fast-paced lifestyles, social media influence, and competitive pressures, highlighting the importance of adolescent mental health and parent-child communication. Ms. Liu shared practical strategies and case studies on how to build strong family relationships, understand children’s psychology, and guide them toward healthy development.

Community parents actively participated and asked numerous questions, creating an engaging atmosphere. Attendees expressed that the seminar was highly practical, helping them better understand their children’s needs and providing actionable guidance for parenting. The event also raised awareness of adolescent mental health within the community and fostered experience sharing among parents.
