During the seminar, James drew from his personal academic and professional experiences in both countries. He highlighted cultural differences in values, education systems, school environments, career development, and interpersonal communication. At the same time, he emphasized that the U.S. and China also share many similarities, such as strong family values, the importance placed on education, and the pursuit of a better future.
Students showed great interest in the topic and actively engaged in the discussion. James answered their questions thoughtfully, creating a dynamic and interactive environment. Many students commented that the seminar broadened their perspectives and helped them better appreciate both cultural differences and shared human values.
