2026 Pearland Lunar New Year Festival Successfully Held

On February 21, the Pearland Chinese Association (PCA) successfully hosted the 2026 Pearland Lunar New Year Festival at the Pearland Sports Center, welcoming more than 2,000 visitors from the Greater Houston area, other parts of Texas, and several states across the United States.

The festival was filled with energy, color, and cultural spirit. Traditional dragon and lion dances kicked off the celebration, followed by a variety of Asian cultural performances. Visitors also had the opportunity to explore traditional culture through interactive booths featuring Chinese calligraphy, painting, chess, music, traditional Chinese medicine, and other cultural activities.

The festival offered something for everyone, including games, family activities, local vendors, and a wide variety of food booths. Families and visitors enjoyed delicious food, entertainment, cultural experiences, and opportunities to connect with local businesses and community organizations.

Beyond celebrating the Lunar New Year, the festival served as an important platform for cultural exchange and community connection, bringing together people from diverse backgrounds to experience and appreciate Asian traditions.
