On October 6, the Greater Houston Chinese community hosted its grand annual Mid-Autumn Festival Gala . Nearly 800 attendees—including U.S. congressional representatives, Texas state legislators, county and city officials, and community leaders—gathered to celebrate this cherished traditional Chinese festival. In early July 2025, severe flooding affected many communities across Texas, causing widespread property damage and displacing numerous families. In response, the Pearland Chinese Association (PCA)  launched a fundraising campaign  to support those impacted by the floods. Through the generosity of PCA members and the broader Pearland community, the campaign successfully raised approximately $2,000  in donations. On April 13, 2025, the Pearland Chinese Association held annual joyful Easter Celebration , drawing 300–400 residents  from diverse cultural backgrounds.
