PCA Annual Member Meeting (11.28.2023)

On November 28, 2023, the Pearland Chinese Association (PCA) successfully held its Annual Member Meeting. The meeting provided an important opportunity to review the organization’s progress in 2023, share financial updates, plan for 2024 activities, and gather community feedback.

1. 2023 Activity Recap

PCA summarized its major community events and cultural programs throughout 2023, including cultural celebrations, educational seminars, charity activities, youth volunteering programs, and community support initiatives. Members recognized the strong participation and positive community impact achieved over the past year.

2. 2023 Financial Report

The treasurer presented a transparent and detailed financial report, covering annual income, expenses, event budgets, and overall financial status. PCA emphasized its continued commitment to openness, responsible financial management, and ensuring all funds support community needs.

3. Preparation Progress for the 2024 Lunar New Year Celebration

The board shared updates on the planning of PCA’s 2024 Lunar New Year Festival, including venue arrangements, performances, vendor participation, sponsorship outreach, and volunteer recruitment. Members were encouraged to join the preparation efforts and contribute ideas to make the celebration even brighter.

4. Other PCA Events Planned for 2024
