Easter is one of the most important holidays in the United States, second only to Christmas. It is a day to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Egg hunting is a key Easter activity, with colorful eggs hidden in the grass to symbolize rebirth and hope as children search for them.
On April 1st, the Pearland Chinese Association, together with AYLUS Pearland, co-hosted a wonderful Easter Egg Hunt event for the children of Pearland. More than 200 local families participated with great enthusiasm.
Founded in early 2018, the Pearland Chinese Association is dedicated to serving the Pearland community and strengthening connections among its residents. This Easter Egg Hunt marks the second successful event organized by the association, following Pearland’s inaugural Chinese New Year Gala earlier this year.
